Brief Bio

I study Computer Science at The Ohio State University, Where my research lies in High Performance Computing. Curerntly, I'm working on the MVAPICH project, under the direction of Dr. Dhabaleswar K. (DK) Panda. Previously, I was a research assistant in the Exasca||ab, headed by Dr. Barbara Chapman. Here, I studied the Fujitsu A64FX Processor and had the enormous fortune of testing OpenMP and MPI behavior across several different applications and compiler toolchains in addition to effect of Scalable Vector Extension (SVE) instructions on Stony Brook's Ookami Cluster and the Fugaku supercomputer.

My research interests include High Performance Computing, File Systems, Compiler Technologies, System Virtualization, Computer Architecture, and Operating Systems. I graduated from Stony Brook University in 2020 and in 2021 with my B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science, respectively.

During my undergraduate career, I did research in the COMPAS Lab (2018-2019), was a teaching assistant in the Stony Brook Computer Science department, and was snare-line section leader of the Stony Brook Marching Band Drumline for three years.

In my spare time, I can be found practicing drums, learning new things in computer science, and practicing more drums. When possible, I practice Tae-Kwon-Do, a Korean martial art in which I've received a 4th degree black belt, achieving the title of "Master."
